Week

ご無沙汰しております、インターン生の山中です。

先週１週間も濃密でした。

日系企業の海外進出を支援するTiEの方とお話ししたり、日本進出のお客様の為、倉庫の下見へ行ったりと本当に充実した毎日を過ごしております。

そして、本日はシカゴで過ごす最後の週末ということもあり、ダウンタウンへお土産を買いに行って参りました。

素晴らしい晴天い加え、電車を待っていると、お兄さんに声を掛けられ、格安で電車のチケットを譲って頂き、ラッキーでした。

シカゴ美術館と雑貨屋で色々な商品を買いあさり、先ほど帰宅いたしました。


インターンも残り１週間です。悔いの残らぬよう全力で取り組んでまいります。

Chicago Black Hawks

先週の月曜日にシカゴに拠点を置く、シカゴブラックホークスがスタンレーカップを制し、見事優勝いたしました。

その模様をバーにて見ていましたが、店内は大盛り上がり。
圧倒されました。。。

その後日ダウンタウンにて、パレードが行われたのですが、その際も多くの人々で街は賑わっていました。

パレード会場のソルジャーフィールドには入れずとも、外観だけは見ようと人ごみの中をかき分け会場まで行こうと思いましたが、途中で断念。

あまりの人ごみの流れに途中で進むことが出来ませんでした。

しかしながら、町中でスポーツチームの優勝を祝う文化、非常に素晴らしく感じた先週の１週間でした。

meantime

I went to downtown after working.
My boss told me three good places. I went to there.

1st
I went to John Hancock Center.
This building can see good landscape of Chicago.  Unfortunately Today's whether was cloudy. But I enjoyed landscape there.

2nd
Next I went to Shows crab house.
There were many people in the restaurant. In despite of weekday.
I ate cream chowder in there.
It was very delicious because it was deep taste.

3rd

I visited Andy's jazz club.

There has good music and waiter.

They were very kind. When I drank, I enjoyed jazz music. Today's guest was Justin Thomas.

His music gave me relaxing. I want to visit there again.

 

I received a lot of kindness from people who live in Chicago.

I felt they have polite attitude and hospitality.

This week High lights

I have met many people this week. I exchanged business cards approximately twenty times.
And They were great people. may be I couldn't meet them if I didn't come to Chicago.
Today I met two people who work at human resource company.  I could talk about their job with them.It was good experience for me.  I appreciate Kishioka san.

Recently I talk with Tom in commute car.  We talk about work style.  Tom's opinion is interesting for me.  Also Tom teach for me about business flow in US. It is hard for me to understand. but Tom kindly teach for me until understand. sometimes Tom asked me whether he is good teacher. I feel he is great teacher for me. He is GTT.

I'll go to lecture of Mr.Yabunaka with Chairman. I am looking forward to meet him.

Down town in Chicago

I went to down town because I wanna visit Chicago University.
My host mother took me to station by car. I missed train although I checked for timetable of train on website. so I had to wait for over one hour. I read a book which gave from shin while waited.

After a while train came.  and I arrived at down town.
After that I took bus. I didn't know how to pay fare because it was first time.
I was confused when got a bus. then a driver taught me how to pay.

I was worried whether I can enter the campus.  I could enter campus.

 Chicago university was so specious. There were a few people in campus because of holiday.  Also some buildings closed. so that, I could not be satisfied with today's visiting.  may be I'll go there again.

maybe I'm not good cameraman.

after that I missed train again due to spacious campus.
However my host mother came to station for me. She is truly like a mother.

I enjoyed this weekend. And I'll become industrious person from tomorrow again.
